Reed Bingham State Park
Adel. Located 6 miles west of Adel on Ga. Hwy 37. Surrounds a 375
acre lake used for water skiing and boating. Also features the

The Parks at Chehaw
Albany. Provides nearly 800 acres of fun, including the only accredited
zoo in Georgia outside of Atlanta, Chehaw Wild Animal Park. Enjoy
native and exotic animals roaming in natural habitat. Features
camping, hiking, biking, largest play park in Albany, a petting
zoo, a miniature train ride and BMX bike racing.

Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park
Blakely. Important archeological site as well as a recreational park.
Seven earthen mounds within the park were built between 250-950
A.D. by the Swift Creek and Weeden Island Indians. Includes a great
temple mound, two burial mounds, and four ceremonial mounds. Park
offers museum with interpretive film, camping, fishing, picnic
area, boating and swimming.

Seminole State Park
Donalsonville. Located on 37,500 acre Lake Seminole and offers a
scenic location for exploring, boating, wildlife viewing, and fishing.
Home of the threatened gopher tortoise. Cottages and campsites
available.

Flint
River Park, Baconton North
This 17 acre park has a breathtaking
view of the Flint River with campsites along the river. Great
area for fishing,
bird watching, or a relaxing picnic. Located

George T. Bagby State Park
Fort Gaines. Located on the shores of Lake Walter F. George in southwest
Georgia, this resort park features a 60 room lodge, conference
center, restaurant, cottages, and award winning 18 hole golf course.
The marina and boat ramp offer easy access to the 48,000 acre lake.

Public Parks in Sylvester
Sylvester
offers a multitude of public parks. They
contain an array of amenities from walking and jogging paths to a
heated
and
cooled
club house. There are covered pavilions and amphitheaters available
and lighted tennis and basketball courts for evening play. We have
tree shaded picnic tables over looking playgrounds and sunny open
multi-use fields for team sports. Public fishing in state stocked
ponds.
